The Jaime’s LILAC Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. We welcome all monetary donations in order to help us reach our goals.

The Jaime’s LILAC Foundation will put the highest percentage of all donations towards our philanthropic goals; targeting as close to 100% of donations as possible. In addition to collecting donations through our website, we will also be selling merchandise and hosting events throughout the year to fundraise for our care packages and promote foundation awareness. 501(c)(3) description
We are a private foundation and are registered as a 501(c)(3) charity. Section 501(c)(3) is the portion of the US Internal Revenue Code that allows for federal tax exemption of nonprofit organizations, specifically those that are considered public charities, private foundations or private operating foundations. It is regulated and administered by the US Department of Treasury through the Internal Revenue Service.

One of the provisions unique to Section 501(c)(3) organizations as compared with other tax exempt entities is the tax deductibility of donations. As a private foundation, donations to us are tax deductible to the individual donor up to 30% of the donor’s income.
